My name is Kelly, welcome! With the support of my partner and kids, I am taking a leap of faith and sharing my creative passions on here and selling locally… it’s a little scary but I am jumping in feet first! I create mixed media art, hand poured soy lux candles- I use vintage vessels for uniqueness as well as fill vessels you bring me, you don’t have to keep buying new candles/vessels anymore! AND I always work on vintage and antique pieces; old stuff rocks :)

Shop what catches your eye in my space — and then think outside the decor box.

A tumbleweed doesn’t have to look like… well, a tumbleweed. Tuck one into an old basket. Let it spill out of a primitive bowl. Add a little light underneath and suddenly it becomes this incredible sculptural texture.

Decor doesn’t have to make sense to everyone. It just has to make you stop.

It’s 90 degrees out and a bazillion % humidity… I’ve decided to think about Winter. 😂 Testing has officially started for the Winter Edit…. The goal? Not necessarily holiday scents—but scents that feel like winter: deep woods, cool air, warmth, spice and just a little something unexpected.

The pieces that make me stop are rarely the ones I was actually looking for.

Weathered stone, old wood, woven textures, tarnished metals, beautiful lines — collected one at a time and layered together.

That’s always been the idea behind Roughly Refined. Not necessarily matching.

COMING IN HOT TOMORROW! This Art Deco piece has been in our garage for 2 years! She tested my patience, changed my mind a few times but, ultimately reminded me why I love bringing old pieces back to life.
Original details preserved. Original hardware and, a little surprise inside the drawers 😉 Perfectly Imperfect, just like I like them 🤎
