A Georgian townhouse in Kensington, reconfigured into a contemporary home. Designer Natasha Wegrzyn kept the original character, small rooms, sash windows, high ceilings, and turned them into features.

Wood floors run throughout. Glass walls and doors connect the kitchen to the living area, so the whole space feels open.
The worktop is monolithic porcelain, kept clean and simple. A walnut and brass cabinet holds the breakfast station. Open shelves let light move through the room. Natural tones and textures give it a warm, homely feel.

The V-ZUG Combair V6000 and CombairSteamer V6000 fit right into the design. Black mirror finish, handleless doors, no extra metal in the room. The owners’ favourite part is the dial and screen.

When not leading the three-Michelin-starred Waterside Inn in Bray, Chef Patron Alain Roux keeps things simple at home. For him, the kitchen is a space designed not only for cooking, but for the life of a home.

“This is where we spend most of our time. With friends or family, even if we’re not eating, this is where we feel the most comfortable.”

So when Roux set out to create his own kitchen, craftsmanship and longevity were essential. Drawn to Poggenpohl’s commitment to quality, he chose a space designed to stand the test of time, and can bring together exceptional design and the warmth of home.

+MODO, our modular kitchen system with a clear architectural expression. Designed by the late Jorge Pensi, it reflects a timeless way of thinking about the kitchen as a structured, lived-in space.

Born in Spain in 1946, Pensi was known for clarity of form and sculptural restraint, a design language that carries through the system’s proportions and detailing.

With clean geometry, a strong horizontal rhythm and flexible open and closed elements, +MODO creates a calm and functional composition.

We feel fortunate to have collaborated with Pensi, and are proud to honour him through a design that continues his vision.

In 1892, Friedemir Poggenpohl realised there was an opportunity to improve the kitchen, making it more practical and better suited to everyday life. In the same year, he founded Poggenpohl.

Raised in Herford, he trained as a cabinetmaker and learned the craft from an early age, focusing on materials, construction and everyday use. Over the years, his carpentry business increasingly started to center on kitchen furniture, gradually becoming fully dedicated to the kitchen as its core area of work.

In 1928, the “Reform Kitchen” saw the light of day. One of the first fitted kitchens, it brought more structure and efficiency into the home. It marked an early step towards the modern understanding of the kitchen as a planned living space.

More than 130 years later, Friedemir Poggenpohl’s legacy is still present in how kitchens are conceived and used. It continues to shape our approach to design, rooted in everyday life, family and function.

44 mm sculptural fronts define its strong architectural expression. Light oak, champagne-toned metal and sand-coloured ceramics create a warm and refined aesthetic inspired by craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Since 2025 we’ve partnered with Danish lighting design company ONE A to rethink how wine storage belongs in the kitchen.

ONE A Wine is built into the kitchen cabinetry, designed to store and present wine as part of the space.

It offers a calm, integrated solution for those who want wine storage to sit naturally within the kitchen.
