A magazine brought us together.

A phone call turned into sketches, measurements, and conversations about exactly what our customer wanted.

And now here it stands.

A handcrafted armoire built entirely from beautiful quarter-sawn oak, with every panel, molding, and detail made right here in our North Carolina workshop.

This is one of the things I love most about what we do. A piece starts as an idea, becomes a stack of lumber, and eventually becomes a family heirloom that will likely outlive all of us.

Seeing it at this stage—before the finish is applied—gives you a glimpse into the craftsmanship that often gets hidden beneath the final color.

Most people see an old-fashioned dry sink.

Our customer saw a bathroom vanity.

And honestly? We think she was onto something. ❤️

This custom Waldo Dry Sink is headed to its new home where it will become the centerpiece of a farmhouse bathroom, complete with a beautiful copper vessel sink.

One of my favorite things about handmade furniture is that it doesn’t have to fit inside a box. A piece can start as one thing and become something completely different when it finds the right home.

Most people see the finished furniture.

Stacks of lumber.

Sawdust in places we didn’t know sawdust could reach.
And a whole lot of planning before the first cut is ever made.

Every dining table, bookcase, cupboard, and dresser we build starts right here on our farm in North Carolina.

There’s something satisfying about looking at a pile of boards and knowing that in a few weeks they’ll be gathering places, family heirlooms, and the backdrop to everyday life.
