A chair with real history and character.

This beautiful armchair appears to be a Louis XVI Revival fauteuil, inspired by French furniture designs from the late 1700s. The style is known for its carved wood frame, fluted legs, gold detailing, nailhead trim, and elegant floral tapestry upholstery.

Pieces like this were especially popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s, when French antique styles came back into fashion. Every curve, carving, and worn detail tells part of its story.
