Growth doesn't happen by accident—it happens through planning, investment, and a vision for the future.
As a Spencer County Commissioner, I believe our responsibility is to create opportunities for the next generation while protecting the values that make our community special.
That means supporting agriculture, the backbone of our local economy. It means encouraging housing development so our children and grandchildren can afford to live and work here. And it means welcoming future businesses that bring jobs, investment, and long-term prosperity to our county.
Located in Rockport, Indiana, along the Ohio River, Spencer County is uniquely positioned for growth through agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, and economic development. Our river, workforce, and strong communities provide opportunities that will benefit our county for generations to come.
A special thank you to Superior Ag for continuing to invest in our community. Investments like these strengthen our agricultural foundation, create opportunities, and help ensure a bright future for Spencer County.
Agriculture. Housing. Business. Growth.
Together, we can build on our strengths while creating new opportunities for families, farmers, and businesses throughout Spencer County.
Stueve Construction finishes the 32,000 ton fertilizer terminal in Rockport, Indiana.
P.J. Peter, Agronomy Division Manager, from Superior Ag shakes the hand of Harrison Carter, Construction Field Manager, from Stueve Construction on the last day for construction of the new dry fertilizer terminal on the Ohio River. The last item to be installed on the building will be a SUPERIOR AG Sign on the end wall.
The investment in the new facility reflects Superior Ag’s commitment to supporting local agriculture and providing farmers with the tools they need to succeed.
Currently, Superior Ag has over 2,700 members throughout southwestern Indiana, northern and central Kentucky and the bordering regions of Illinois.
Congratulations on this great project!
