It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Dale Heinecke. Dale was the definition of a hard working man with a kind and generous soul. He founded Heinecke Wood Products back in 1995, and went on to build a thriving and successful business known for its high quality wood products and lasting customer relationships. Dale shared his passion for wood working with his son Tim and his grandson Ben, who are proud to carry on his legacy with Heinecke Wood. His presence in the shop is already greatly missed, and the memories will be held very close to our hearts.

If you have a nice memory of Dale that you’d like to share, please feel free to leave it in the comments. We find comfort in remembering all of his accomplishments and adventures.

Happy Sunday! We hope you all had a great weekend.

We are excited to announce that we are officially back up and running at 100% since the fire earlier this spring. Our storage sheds are rebuilt and filled with wood, and the shop is completely repaired. We finished up our 2021 sawing season, and the logs sawed up great! We have lots of excellent product for you, and will continue filling your orders as quickly as we can.

We wanted to extend a huge thanks to all of you for the outpouring of prayers and support. We truly have appreciated your patience throughout the rebuild. We also want to thank our contractors and electrician for all of their hard work. We are so grateful that they were able to get us back on our feet so quickly.

We are so thankful to have such an amazing customer base and community!

As some of you may have already heard, we unfortunately had a fire at Heinecke Wood Products this past Sunday. We lost three of our sheds, and the main shop has suffered some damages. We’ve been doing our best to move forward with repairs so that we can get back up and running as soon as possible.

We want to assure everyone that we are still in business, and we have plenty of wood available. We will continue to take orders as usual, but know that there may be some delays. We are also in a crucial state of sawing logs for this season, which may also add to shipping delays. As always, we will continue to do our best to ship out only the highest quality basswood as quickly as we can.

Happy Monday, everyone! We are still on the road, almost back to Wisconsin. What a GREAT show this past weekend! We wanted to thank all of our loyal customers for the years of support we've received. We will definitely miss seeing you all annually in Ohio. The Artistry in Wood committee has done a fantastic job with this show, and we are so grateful to have been a part of it for so long. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers, participants, and visitors. Congratulations on a wonderful finale!

Hello, everyone! We hope you are all having a fantastic summer. Unfortunately, we experienced some pretty strong storms and straight line winds this past weekend, leaving us and the rest of the area with no phone or Internet services. This has affected our ability to take calls, receive emails, and ship any open orders. We apologize if you have been trying to get ahold of us. We've been out of service since last Friday evening. We are hoping to be up and running again as soon as possible, and we greatly appreciate your patience in the meantime! Don't worry, the shop is still functioning, and the guys are still working hard to fill your open orders which will be shipped out as soon as we are back online.
