Loretto Mercantile Greg McCluskey has manufactured beautiful custom made furniture for over 20 years in his 10,000 sq ft furniture shop.

He can custom build that "just right" size you sometimes need. Karen McCluskey is an artist and loves to have art parties for the young and old at heart. Parties for birthdays, holidays and for just making memories with friends and families. I also offer art classes at a few of the local schools.

I will be starting my Summer Art Camp on Monday June 6th. Camp is 5 days and cost is $70.00. We will be doing new and exciting things this year!! We live in the Loretta, Valley Grove area . Between Good Hope and Smith Lake Park, very easy to find. I will provide snacks. Time is 10:00-12:00. They will have a great and fun time. PM me or call 256-339-3531 for more info. We are starting to book for the holidays Painting Parties. Even if you think you cant paint I can show you how to make a beautiful piece of art while having a fun time with friends. You don't need any supplies, I will furnish everything. Cost is $30.00 per person. We live in Loretto which is Valley Grove. Only about 5 miles from exit 304, very easy to find! Well I had a little setback today. I had a handful of door hangers to take back to the sanding room and almost stepped on a long black thing! I let out a scream and called Greg, but the Creature had slithered under a cabinet. Well tearing the shop up we finally caught him, I am sure he was at least 8 or 9 foot long!! I think really only about 4 foot but just sayin!!! He was actually very friendly to be so ugly!! We always let the good ones go in the woods in back of the shop----- way way at the back of the shop!! Greg had mowed the field in front of the house and I have left the door open in the shop, so I think that is where he came in at.

Greg and I worked super hard this past weekend cutting out and sanding Fall Door Hangers. Now today I get to do the FUN part, doing all the pretty artwork on them. I will post finished pictures in the morning. I love it!!!
