Finished laying 1800 square feet of rubber flooring in the shop this weekend. Each roll was 340 pounds each. Took 3 days to get it down, would’ve been quicker if I didn’t have to move all the machines around as I was doing it. My knees will thank me over the years.
Side note I have guaranteed that I will never have a chisel roll off my bench.

When family comes to town there is always a wall or two that comes down. This weekend we took down the walls in the room that will become the lumber storage. It was the first time that someone (won’t mention who) got to kick through a wall.😂 what a great way to spend some family time.

When you’re waiting on electricians and you can’t wait any longer to start making saw dust in your new shop. Hand tools is how I started wood working and it feels good to just use them and not have the noise of machines going. I think I’m going to have to now and then just make a whole project using them.

What a fun morning I had. I had to remove over 60+ of these. Each one had 6 screws in them for over 360+ screws to remove. There were 3 different types of screws they used on the brackets. To make even more fun the previous owners painted of most of the screws so I had to peel the paint off to figure out what type of screw it was and then hope they didn’t strip the screw head.
