Farmhouse tables are really fun to build. There are so many options. Here is mine I build using the lumber from the stantions in my barn. As you can see it expands to accept more leaves and can seat 12.

I absolutely love a challenge... and this was a big one.
These cabinets were built using old fence pickets. I love all the character they show with the knots and wild grain. The tin backsplash was some tin I salvaged from Curtis Sargent's building before they torn it down to build the butcher shop. The countertop is just simple 2x6 framed and finished with a unique process to highlight the grain (but is hard to see in the picture).

This was a fun project and I had amazing clients to work for. I thank them for their trust in me and my design and most of all their patience 😉.

I few pics of the counters I built for R&R. All the wood was reclaimed out of the Sumner Gymnasium that was torn down. The counter tops are 5 pieces of the massive arched beams. The front panels are vintage ceiling tiles. All of the wood is reclaimed old growth fir that I milled to create the cabinets and scraps to piece the quilt square end caps.

I cannot thank Tammy Paulsen and Cathy Pflaster enough for having the confidence and faith in me to tackle this project for them. You are 2 of the most kind hearted people on this earth. 💕
