This is the first time ever that I’ve been able to build a piece to list “for sale”. This hall tree is made from an old door that was standing in the corner of my shop. The door was constantly in the way and I got tired of having to move it, so I decided to replace the glass panes with a chalkboard and added some coat hooks. Then I turned a couple of table legs and added a walnut table top to create this unique hall tree. I’m asking $500 for this piece.

This is a custom built Dutch Style door. Madison has been wanting me to build a door like this, for several years now, to replace her old bedroom door. Well, I finally had enough ash lumber in my stock pile to make this door along with the trim. This piece turned out so well that I’m considering replacing all of the doors and trim in our house to match this one. Guess I need to get with it cause I’ve got 7 more to build.

Completed this project in September 2019. Made from ash with a clear lacquer finish.
