The starting point? Gray marble that simply felt too cold.

Our client asked us to take the space somewhere warmer—classic and clean, but artsy, unconventional and with a European feel.

Enter warm oak cabinetry, Calacatta Gold and this incredible cement tile.

The rounded Arco shape feels artsy, architectural and slightly European-modern, while the cement keeps it imperfect and organic.

Warmer. More collected. And definitely less expected.

Our client asked us to take the space somewhere warmer—classic and clean, but artsy, unconventional and with a European feel.

A primary bath, completely reimagined.

From dated finishes and a closed-off feel to a warm, timeless space designed around natural materials and thoughtful details.

For this renovation, we paired warm white oak cabinetry with softly veined stone, classic white tile and matte black fixtures to create contrast while keeping the overall palette calm and cohesive.

One of our favorite things about a renovation is seeing how the individual selections finally come together - cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing and lighting all playing a part in the finished space.

Same family. Completely different personalities.

We're currently sourcing natural stone for a project and comparing several slabs of Calacatta marble.

Calacatta Gold brings a softer, more understated movement with a creamy white ground and warm gray veining. Timeless, elegant, and incredibly versatile.

Calacatta Viola takes a much bolder approach. Its dramatic burgundy and plum veining creates contrast and character that can turn the stone into a focal point all on its own.

One of our favorite parts of working with natural stone is that no two slabs are ever exactly alike. The variation, movement and imperfections are what make selecting the actual slab such an important part of the design process.

A Little Progress + A Lot of Intention

Micro adjustments along the way, but it’s all coming together.

After some foundation shifting, our client decided to take the opportunity to make a few long-awaited updates to this bathroom — keeping the overall direction classic, earthy and timeless, with plenty of room for her love of art and color to finish the space.

The initial design illustration helped us work through placement, proportion and scale before everything started going in — which makes such a difference once construction begins.

A few of our favorite selections:

• Zellige tile carried to the ceiling to visually elongate the walls
• Timeless limestone flooring
• Calacatta Gold countertops to add warmth and movement
• An upgraded tub — because we still love having at least one in a home, especially with resale in the future in mind
• Kohler plumbing throughout in polished nickel — soft and elevated without feeling too stark or flashy
• An upgraded shower head for a more spa-like experience
• The shower lined with Calacatta Gold liners to complete the look
• Crown molding removed for a cleaner, more updated feel
• Rejuvenation onyx glass lighting + an updated mirror to bring in that perfect old-meets-new character

Next up: cabinet installation, finish plumbing and lighting, followed by our client’s added touches to make the space feel like a true extension of her home and personal style. We can’t wait to see the final layer come together.

DOOR DAY 🚪 | SO MANY CHOICES. SO MUCH CRAFTSMANSHIP.

One door closes, another opens… and somewhere in between are a whole lot of decisions.

Every door you see here represents a choice — a finish, a style, a measurement, a change of mind, and countless hands behind the scenes making sure it all comes together.

For this project, we walked through all the steps with our client to make sure every selection was intentional and worked beautifully with their overall design. Our client selected this beautiful reeded glass door, and we can’t wait to see it installed.

Because what looks simple when it’s finished is rarely simple getting there.
