A family once lived within this Hacienda.
Isabela, a vanity, was found in the bedroom of the family’s oldest daughter.
Unlike the pieces that occupied the Hacienda’s shared spaces, Isabela belonged to a more private part of the home, a room that was hers.
We may never know all the moments that unfolded around her, but her presence gives us another small glimpse into the life this Hacienda once held.

Not every week brings visible progress.
Humidity affected the top coat on this piece, which meant sanding it back and beginning that part of the process again.
Frustrating? Absolutely.
But craftsmanship isn’t only about what goes right, sometimes is about knowing when to go back, take the extra time and do the work again.
