Here we go again but hopefully this will be the last time. The road will be closed Wednesday afternoon / Thursday and Monday / Tuesday. Our parking lot will be accessible, and we will be open.

🚧 Street Closure on E. Spring Street: June 4 - 5 for Milling and June 9 - 10 for Paving 🚧

East Spring Street, from Watauga Road to Skyline Drive, will be closed the following dates for essential street repairs per the attached map. This section of street will close each day at 8 a.m. and reopen each evening at 5 p.m.

🔸 Wednesday (6/4/2025) - Milling
🔸Thursday (6/5/2025) - Milling
🔸Monday (6/9/2025) – Paving
🔸Tuesday (6/10/2025) - Paving

While work is taking place, traffic will be rerouted around the closure via: Watauga Road, Springboro Road, and Whitson Chapel Road

This schedule is subject to adjustments due to weather or equipment delays.

We have not seen any notice put out by the city, but the road is closed again. We are open! If coming from 111, the easiest way to access our parking is to turn right on Watauga, left on Linda Ava, and left on Skyline. Then you will only go a short distance on Spring St to access our parking lot.

Update as of Tuesday May 13...the initial phase is completed, and they are waiting on the pavers. The road is open until further notice.

The work has begun, but as a reminder, access our parking lot from the east side. The road is closed at Whitson Chapel Rd, so you will have to tell them that you are going to Cavender's.

The repair of the street and our parking lot is going to begin on Monday. The street will be closed, but you will be able to access our parking lot coming in from the east side (Johnson’s Nursery side). We will remain open while the work is being completed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

From everyone here at Cavender's, we wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. We will be closed Thursday and Friday. We will reopen on Monday December 2.

Unfortunately, we will have to be closed today (Monday November 18) due to water main break / sink hole located directly in front of our showroom. The street is closed in both directions so they can make the repairs. If you need assistance, please message us or call us at (931)372-2112. We anticipate being able to resume normal hours tomorrow.
