It's hunting season! Now taking orders for stand up shooting tables, custom shooting sticks/walking sticks, and doing a limited # of custom grips for the pistoleros out there(2 week turn around at present). Also have a limited # of arrow shafts I have already cut out and cured. Won't be doing anymore till after season, as we're already into bow season, and the time and effort it takes to properly cure them. If you have a bow you already ordered and were fit for, but haven't picked up, please do so(you 4 know who you are) as I ned the rack space. Those that were asking for my custom made broad heads, I only have a dozen or so left. 1st come, 1st serve. I will however be doing arrow fletching in the turkey feathers end of next week, so need to get me your shafts before then, as this will be my last run till after season. I will be doing knife sharpening on Thursdays this year(except the Thur. of second week of gun season that I hunt out of town). If I've never sharpened your blade before, and have to do a complete recut of the edge by hand(can take up to 2hrs depending on the blade) it's $10. All other sharpening is free. BTW, I usually get through 4-6 whole deer, including splitting rib cages all the way up in field dressing, before I have to touch up the edge on my blades.(Last year my skinner quit shaving after the 4th ribcage, so that's why I'm available weekly). Also will be doing 3 classes on hide preservation/curing, and may even do one on various tanning methods and advanced stuff, if I get enough interested. Have a productive, and SAFE season, and God bless.
