A couple things coming from John’s Custom Woodworks lately. A 12 person solid cherry dining table with natural finish constructed in antique planked fashion by request. Also a double locker mud bench complete with soft close hinges and drawers to help keep all the chaos contained. Thanks Barbara Jared and Julie Ford Randolph!

Year end photo dump: here are several of my latest projects to round out 2023. Solid maple dining room table built to seat 14, a set of custom double bunk beds (twins over queens) with storage drawers, adjustable lighting and wireless charging, and finally a maple double dog kennel with removable divider and sliding barn doors. Design created by the customer and made rustic by request, this one was built to last! From the thick red oak top to the drawers and shelving, the stained red oak grain really gives this piece a farmhouse feel. Custom designed to fit the space and finished with a clear lacquer topcoat, it will bring functionality and flare to this kitchen for years to come! Well this client designed the piece herself and even helped with install ……… so if you see Brittany Allison, you can tell her she did a good job! It remains to be seen if we can get the kids to actually put their shoes in the drawer………. 🙃 A mud bench (hall tree) is a great way to make your entryway stand out, and there are SO many options out there as far as design ideas.
