من أنفق زوجين في سبيل الله، نودي في الجنة يا عبد الله، هذا خير: فمن كان من أهل الصلاة دُعي من باب الصلاة، ومن كان من أهل الجهاد دُعي من باب الجهاد، ومن كان من أهل الصدقة دُعي من باب الصدقة
"Whoever gives two kinds (of things or property) in charity for Allah’s Cause, will be called from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed, ‘O slaves of Allah! Here is prosperity.’ So, whoever was amongst the people who used to offer their Salat (prayers), will be called from the gate of the salat ; and whoever was amongst the people who used to participate in Jihad, will be called from the gate of Jihad ; and whoever was amongst those who used to observe fasts, will be called from the gate of Ar-Raiyan ; whoever was amongst those who used to give As-Sadaqa (charity), will be called from the gate of As-Sadaqa." (Narrated by Bukhari in hadith no. 3666, Muslim no. 1027)
All around the world, and even in your own backyard, there are people who are suffering from illness, hunger, or desperation. "By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give freely from that which you love. And whatever you give, Allah knows it well" (Qur'an 3:92).

Before Ramadan started, we managed to send out our first box to a "darrha" in Senegal, full of clothes and shoes donated by locals. We also had our first soccer tournament, in efforts of raising awareness and money for the talibés. During the Ramadan, we are planning on sending money to help the less fortunate break their fast because not many will have the money to be able to eat or drink after a long day of fasting. Our GoFund Link is still up and accepting donations, we will take as much as we can to help. Donating during the month of Ramadan will not only be beneficial for those being helped but also for you. Lifting Spirits Organization is hosting a two Soccer Tournament to raise awareness for the less fortunate back home. Come join us, support, have fun and help us raise money for these Talibés in Senegal. We will be accepting donations, clothes, shoes, toys, etc... Bring out the kids, there will be food and games for them. Come watch a live and exciting soccer game with us and The LS Family and have a good time. See you all there

"Our children, Our future" The LS Movement is still working to improve these kids living conditions. We have collected lot of clothes from different states and they are ready to be shipped. We found 2 Daras and have 2 members who recently went to Senegal. As of now we working on some events for Ramadan which is almost here. We also working on some others events to raise money. If you have clothes, shoes, blankets, toys, anything you want to donate, let us now and we will come pick it up. We have representatives from different states in the U.S but also in Senegal. Donating to an appealing cause but not knowing where your money is going is one of the worst things. We ask you to donate to help these talibes but it is only fair for you to know where the money is going. Lately, we have been working on finding trustworthy darras in Senegal to help out by providing them with food (especially with Ramadan approaching), clothes, shoes, etc... So far, we have 5 darras, discovered by one of our members that we plan on helping out in the near future. We are also having two of our members who will be going to Senegal in May to visit & make sure everything is going as planned. We will have events and fundraisers soon to raise more awareness and get these talibes the help that they need.
We ask you to donate and our organization because "We Rise by Lifting Others" and we firmly believe that helping these talibes can help Senegal towards a better future.
