By Wait List Only Emza Uphill is a 3rd generation weaver with 25+ years experience. As a teenager she started helping her father Bill, of Bill's Caning & Rushing, with his work load; first learning how to hand cane, then sheet cane, Danish Cord, Shaker Tape, and splint weave chairs, canoe panels, and other functional items. Emza received her Bachelors of Fine Art with a minor in History of Art fro

A very long project headed back home in time for Christmas 🎄Six and a half feet, 214 hand cane holes, and countless hours. I believe it was once French/blind caned and someone drilled wildly through each hole to the inside of the seat. Did some rounding off of sharp edges and stabilization repairs before hand caning strand by strand. Glad for my caning needle and many movies 😁 On to my next project!
