This isn’t wood stain!

I used 1 part black paint to 5 parts water on stripped, sanded, and cleaned raw wood. The grain still shines through!

Paintwash or stain—which would you choose?

The orange oak wasn’t even the biggest problem…

After removing the Water damaged sections from both tops, I made repairs, and gave it them a whole new look using only products I had on hand.

What do you think of the colors I chose?

Tired of red wood tones? I removed the finish, applied wood bleach, neutralized once dry, lightly sanded, then applied a beige wash. Goodbye, red! 🤎
