Family owned since 1929. Still building by hand.

From the wood shop to the sewing machines to the upholstery floor, every step of the process happens here in our Columbus shop. Fabric gets cut and sewn to spec. Frames get built from raw wood. Shop drawings get reviewed before a single piece goes into production.

That is not how every furniture manufacturer works. It is how we have always worked.

Reupholstered in a rich teal velvet from Kravet with new high density foam and Dacron seat cushion throughout. Exposed wood trim touched up to match. The structure gets the same attention as the fabric on every piece that comes through our shop.

In case you ever wondered how nailhead trim gets on a piece of furniture. This is how: one tack at a time, using an upholstery hammer and a tack knife to keep placement precise.

On a piece like this, the tacks run in multiple rows across the top and down the sides, forming a geometric pattern that has to stay consistent from the first tack to the last.

A classic upholstery finishing method that both secures the fabric and adds a decorative detail.
