The annual Free Pictures with Santa event this Saturday is a cherished tradition that began long before our current ownership, originally started by the founder of Vintage 615, Jamie O’Dazier….We just carried it on!💕
Each year, this community giveback brings together families and helps create heartfelt memories, connecting people through the simple magic of Santa.🎅
A Story of Santa’s Magic!✨
On one especially busy Santa day, a little girl named Olivia caught my eye. She was wearing a beanie a bit too big and had a PICC line.
Though I missed the chance to meet her family then, fate brought us together when her mom posted their Santa photo for the annual “most-liked picture” contest.
Through this, I learned Olivia was bravely fighting brain cancer.
I asked her Mom, Diana if I could give Olivia this sweet little bear that I was carrying in the store at the time and she told me that they were going to the hospital early the next morning for Olivia’s chemo treatment.
I promised her that I wasn’t a stalker and if she gave me her address, I would leave it on her porch.
Something was driving me to get that bear to little Olivia that night.
A Bear named Rosie!🧸
The next day Diana sent me this picture (first picture attached), Olivia loved her new bear and Diana said “She named her new bear Rosie.”
That was my Mom’s name…Rose, Rosie to many. My Mom had passed away three years earlier…they didn’t know her or me.
It was a moment filled with emotion and gratitude, reminding me of the love and faith that surround these special moments.
The Power of Community!💝
That day, Olivia and her family became part of my story and my heart.💕
Olivia’s strength, courage, and sass inspire us all, and we’re so thankful that the magic of Santa brought us together.
Join the Tradition!🎅🎄
