I had two months without any caning jobs but in late December with people heading south for the winter, the flood gates opened and I developed a lineup once again. These are a few finished from October to January. All were hand caned except for the stool which was woven with reed.

This chair resides in a bed and breakfast and has been well cared for. It is one of a set in their dining room. I replaced the pressed cane back and stained to match the old cane.

This chair is an interesting one that has stayed in their family with a matching loveseat. With a trip to the st*****rs and new upholstery, it will serve the family well. I replaced the pressed cane in the arms and the back.

Kitchen stool set which had an issue with shedding their original seat fragments on the floor. I installed 5/32" fiber rush seats which have been shellaced for longevity.

Now I'm caught up on work again so it's time to post. These three are part of a larger set to a matching table. I replaced their pre-woven pressed cane seats with fresh 1/2" webbing.
