The Bethalto Police Department would like to thank the area citizen for their concerns regarding this matter. The owners of the golf cart and other pertinent items recovered have been contacted and are in the process of being returned.

Big Thanks to the concerned citizen who spotted our mysterious muddy friend emerging from the woods! 🌳 Don't worry, we made sure they got a VIP es**rt straight to the police station where they were able to get warm. 🚓 Turns out, they were quite the popular character, with a fan club from multiple agencies eager to have a chat.

Again, thank you to the residents who help us do our job.
