This years handmade gifts were a bit different than what I’m used to. The giant Santa has been a family tradition since 1990. Originally built by my grandfather, this year I decided to shrink them down to bring them inside. An Angel for my sisters new daughter, and a Santa to go in my aunts house since she donated her big Santa to my sister. This was my first project that utilized my new scroll saw, and I think I might need to explore this path a bit more. Who wants a figurine?

Welcome to the most complicated easy shower I’ve ever done. Between countless prep and framing issues, bad tile issues, and general time frame destruction, this little shower threw every wrench it could into the gears. But now she’s plumb. She’s flat. And she’s pretty dang pretty. Custom corner shelf, because I have to keep myself entertained somehow.

While I do love me a shower job, sometimes the shower is already in place and someone needs the rest of the bathroom brought up to par.
New walls, new ceiling, new lighting, new heater, new plumbing and fixtures, paint, trim, the whole nine yards.
First time doing the tile look LVP flooring, and I have to say that I'm a fan. Maybe this wooden plank trend is finally starting to fade away a bit?
Nice little facelift if I do say so myself.

New Shower Project all wrapped up in the Poconos.
One of the downfalls to collaborating with other workers is having to build over what is sometimes a less than stellar foundation. The walls of this shower were wavy and out of plumb, but the finished product is both flat and plumb, and ready for some nice glass doors.
The first tile order (from Lowe's 👎) was defective, and then the second tile order (Floor&Decor) arrived with some glossy tiles mixed in with the matte.
Lots of headaches along the way, but a little extra time and creativity left us with a very nice finished product. Check out that custom built corner shelf.

When my brother and I were born, our grandfather made these letter name trains for my parents. Now that my sister is expecting her first child, I decided to continue the tradition for her new family. Alexandra will be welcomed into the world in a few days, and hopefully this memento will follow her throughout. Pictures show a bit of the process from start to finish. I used some really nice exotic woods for this project. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Newest bathroom job all wrapped up. The old tub surround had been damaged to the point of no return and it as time for a new surround. Turned out pretty dang nice if I do say so myself.

Wrapping up this fireplace accent wall project. Ended up deciding to drop the mantel six inches after finishing the first time. Everything is much more balanced now. Final pic was the inspiration.
