Shameless, I know...
2 of Lester's grandchildren live and go to school in Eagle River, Alaska. It's a small school, less than 100 kids. Eagle River Optional is a hands on learning environment and does many projects that focus and support the very large number of veterans and active duty military we have in our community. About 50% of the kids in the program have had, or currently have a parent deployed.
We are always looking for ways to fund our projects. The next project is to make 100 pillows to send to those deployed. We're calling it Project Sleep Tight. But all those pillow materials are pricy!
To help us earn the money we need to do this project, the school is participating in The MightyNest Challenge.
So you want to help?? SURE YOU DO!!!
You don't have to buy anything. MightyNest will send you email, but you can opt out at any time. For every sign-up the school gets they earn $1.00.
A whole $1.00! Last year we were able to earn $250 for a project. We need more like $400 for this one. So ask your friends and neighbors too!
Would you all take just a moment to earn a buck for this project? There are 86 people that follow this page - that's $86 right there! If you each ask 1 person to help, we're almost half-way there!!
Pretty please? :)
