lue. About Rodriguez Shipbuilding, Inc. In 1976 the Rodriguez family founded Rodriquez Boat Builders, Inc. specializing in Cargo Vessels, Tug Boats and Fishing Boats. Over the years we have managed to grow during the good times, and have maintained our position during the lean years. We are fortunate to be located in Coden, AL, near Bayou La Batre and Mobile. This area is well known for its boat building expertise. We are served by two main deep water channels, Bayou La Batre and Bayou Coden. This area has a very large and skilled labor force available. For example, our city of only 2500 employs more than 5000 people within its city limits. These geographic advantages coupled with our experience and abilities have enabled us to build quality boats, meet delivery schedules, and give to our customers real value. These things are the foundation upon which we built our company. We have the experience that we have gained from building more than 265 various vessels for customers the world over. On every American coast, as well as Central and South America, and Africa, you will find Rodriguez built fishing vessels doing an honest day's work.
