A walk around the shop Easter edition….

We have some great new pieces on the floor! There is a double set of German cabinets both glass front and solid wood, American of Martinsville dining table, Conant Ball nightstands, a cute Drexel sideboard and a very cool cabinet from Baumritter (Ethan Allen).

We are open tomorrow, Saturday 11-5 and will be closed on Sunday.

I’ve been saving this post for Spring Break lol…..

Recently Billy and I were asked to come down to S Florida to see a little coastal cottage that had been long forgotten about and now slated for demolition. To our surprise, the cottage was left with its furnishings intact. Sadly, 95% of it was too far gone for restoration to be considered but we did find a couple of things that we could not leave behind. As expected, the beachy old Florida vibes are strong with these pieces!

The lamp features a rustic, sculptural base made from driftwood and is paired with a simple, cone-shaped fabric lamp shade.

The shell art piece is handmade and soooo cute!

The lucite + shell napkin rings (set of 4) were still in the original box!

I’ve been saving this post for Spring Break lol…..

We found a super cool cabinet this week! It’s from Baumritter, early Ethan Allen. It is solid birch and from the Birchcraft line. The line is known for its "casual modern" style, blending Scandinavian design influences with its American counterparts.

This “gentleman’s cabinet” sports the coolest slide front doors. It has a sleek minimalist profile with a versatile storage layout that works perfectly in a bedroom, nursery, or as a statement sideboard in a living area.

We have a few new pieces this week! A suuuuuuper long bow front credenza, a really cool sliding media center, a small slide front atomic 50s cabinet and a slightly larger + lower one ….. there is also arts and craft show in the village this weekend✨

Wall art…..that is always a challenging category for me to fill. We nailed it last week with the piece from Modern Retrograde…..and I’m hoping to continue the streak this week lol.

This piece is for all our Disney fans. A super cute metal sign memorializing the old Disneyland ride, Rocket Jets. The original poster was designed in 1967 by Ken Chapman.

Rocket Jets was an attraction at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened in 1967 and closed in 1997 for the “New” Tomorrowland that opened in 1998. It was replaced by The Astro Orbiter.

Memory Monday 🧡

Our roots in Historic Cocoa Village run deep. Back in 1997 we rented the apartment above 313 Delannoy. It was a different Cocoa Village back then…the Brevard Hotel was demolished but Oleander Pointe was not built yet. There was a 2 story antique shop where Thai Thai is now, St Marks had a thrift shop, where Ossorio’s is now was a gourmet kitchen shop, Goths still made the park their Friday night hang out, the wood carved sign shop was still around and Gould’s Antique shop was open. As the saying goes, “we’ve come a long way, baby!”

So good, this piece sold before we could even tell you guys about it!
