We are happy to be involved with some other local artists and art spaces working to amplify the arts in our communities in the 618 Southern Illinois Arts Collective We are just getting started and looking for input on what artists need, the kinds of events they want to participate in, and generally who makes what and where they are located. If you are an artist or art lover in the 618 it would help a lot if you could fill this out! Meet Kellee, one of our program family members!

Kellee and her daughters, Kelsey and Kween-Kenya, have been part of Habitat Pittsburgh’s Homeownership Program since July 2025. For Kellee, the journey toward homeownership has been about much more than having a place to live—it’s been about creating something lasting for her daughters, a home where their family can grow, make memories, and build a future together. As Kellee puts it, "every nail driven and every wall raised is a reminder that compassion creates lasting change."
