Hi ya'll, yes Ive been slacking on posting on this page. Im still dealing with kidney issues. My surgery last Friday was unsuccessful. Now im living with a stent inside my kidney going to my bladder. Yeah, torture. Plan is to stretch out my ureter for 3 weeks and string me along for yet another surgery that probably won't work. Something is wrong with my parathyroid hense my ignored broken ribs from me fainting due to kidney stones. Let's ignore the cause. Healthcare is so corrupt. Being an RN its undeniable. It's scary.
Nothing is selling. Marketplace is a total disaster now. Ive literally seen the same items for sale for months in my area.
When I do list my piece dirt cheap, I only get lowball offers. People just get it. They want everything for nothing. Why even bother.
So yes not happy or healthy.
Maybe next time I post ill have a better attitude.

Available in the local area of Sonoma County.

Besides my passion for painting, Im obsessed with rocks. These are heart rocks ive collected at the beach in Bodega Bay, California. I call these, Tree Of Love. I make all sorts of things with smaller rocks I find. Its fun.

Pretty cool, especially since I haven't been as active on here as usual.

Thank you to those who follow and support me in a positive way. It really is so cool to know someone digs my painted pieces. 😆. I enjoy doing it.

Hey there! Yes I'm alive. 😆 I haven't been on my page here much because I've been dealing with kidney stones. Lucky me has surgery on the 15th.

Then we have had sporadic cold rainy days, not ideal for painting.

That said, I have worked on some pieces inbetween those days. Im still finishing up my huge dark grey/black dressers. I like to have them outside for pictures. The best lighting. This weekend will be sunny. Yippy! Then back in storage they go. Thank God for Dolly and my boyfriend because they are way to heavy to lift. We did that when we picked them up and had to carry them down over 50 cement steep stairs. It wasn't pretty. Lol Jeff and I were bitching at eachother. 😆

In the meantime, I needed something to do on those cold, wet days so I prepped a small antique dresser to work on inside. I used Amy Howard At Home , One Step Paints and then also her, A Makers Studio Charkart, in the color, Land O Goshen for the rose stencil pattern on the drawers and sides. Great stuff! I love her paint. Ive used it many times and it never disappoints. I also distressed the edges and used some dark black glaze to age the piece and bit. Make it French Country.

Its available in my area, Sonoma County.
