I love the pieces that come to me that have been passed down through families. The stories they could tell, the memories that have been created. I wonder just how many babies have been rocked in this chair, and hope that many more memories will be created in it. I am so thankful that the family entrusted me with restoring it for them.

We got a little over half of the floor joist in yesterday before we ran out of boards. We had changed the design after we bought the materials, so ended up a little short on the joists, no big deal, went and picked up some more last night so we can get the rest in today. If the weather cooperates, we hope to have it dried in by the end of the week.

If you are local to me and are in need of 1/4" elastic for masks, I have about 40 yds left. 50 cents/yd, 10 yd minimum. If someone that has already said they wanted some doesn't show to pick up today, I may have more.

Do you ever just literally want to throw the "F" bomb? I'm sure there are lots of us right now that do and now you can. And it won't hurt anybody.
These are made to order, you can pick your colors, and I will ship so if you know somebody that needs one of these, (think of all the essential workers that could use this right now).

We FINALLY got a full day of sunshine with Andy and I both here to get started on the new building. Got a lot done but we are both pooped. Thank goodness Riana came and helped for a few hours, her young back came in handy.
