I'm literally crying, dreading making this post because of a comment I received yesterday in regards to me not being at my store on the days and times I have listed.
I likely won't be there today. Life is kicking my butt in ways I never talk about.
If you look in the parking lot, you'll see my truck. Madi and decided to stay late yesterday to work on the store. Around 7:30, we wrapped things up to head home. Went out to the truck. It wouldn't start. We tried everything we knew of to get it to start, but it just wouldn't. Eventually called my hubby to come see if he could get it going. He was already in bed so he could go to work today. In fact, he just started this new job in Conroe last week. Keep in mind, we live in Cleveland. So nearly an hour later, he shows up to "save the day". (No hate on him. He will always show up for me or the kids.)
All of the things we know are wrong with the truck and usually correct the issue when we play with them, didn't work. It needs a new BCM, but compressed air usually gets it up and running. Before I called hubby, I placed an express Walmart order for more compressed air because we'd already used what we had. Walmart delivery got there a little after my hubby got there. He spent a while trying all of the usuals. Nothing worked. He finally decided to leave it and for us to all just go home in my car.
Brings us to today. Truck is still at the store. Hubby has my car in Conroe. I have no way to get to the store to open. Idk what curve ball life is going to throw me next, but believe me when I say that I feel more upset and disappointed in myself than you guys could ever feel toward me not being there. I set the bar really high for myself and the store. I have higher expectations for myself than anyone else could ever set for me. But as a small business, for some reason, we aren't shown the mercy that we ALL need from time to time. It's "bad business" for me to be late or not be there at all. That truly hurts.
Anyway, I likely won't be there today and just wanted y'all to know why! I love you guys and my store more than words can ever express so please, show me a little mercy. I really need it right now.
Love, Kasee!
