I upcycled this piece for a customer and added cabinet space for a TV, computer, or other uses. Given that it lacked a couple of drawers, this modification seemed apt. The customer was thrilled, which made me extremely happy. 😁

So finally after deciding to paint this old chest of drawers we just have a couple small things to do to be finished. I have every intention of painting the applique a matt black so it will stand against the semi gloss.

We don’t always find the time to post all that we are doing here at Time Warp Restorations but one thing if for sure we are always busy with sometimes 5 projects going on at once.

Finally it’s almost Halloween which that means Christmas is creeping up on us again. This is the perfect time to bring us over your projects so we can have everything finished and ready by Christmas. Remember no job is to big or to small our goal is to make sure your Happy with smile on your face. If you do it soon I will even throw in a sweet little Holiday discount for you.

Doing a full blown resurrection of this antique Parlor Chair. I often wonder does the average person have any idea the amount of time it takes to bring a piece back that everyone has decided there just no hope for it? I never stop working and I give 💯% in all I do.
You have to have a passion to do this and I love it but my wallet is hating life and my bank account.
I’ve come to far to throw in the towel it’s just not my nature.

This is just one piece of what most of the chairs we restore look like. I call it attempted murder of a chair. Just by taking a little more time this could be avoided because it does so much damage to the wood. Your antiques will thank you and so will we.

A few of you I believe saw the first pics I posted of this really old antique lyre chair. It was ready for the burn barrel and had been really beat up and abused if you ask me. My wife challenged me and I changed myself to see if I could bring it back to life. The wood was in horrible shape but somehow we managed to pull it off and here she is😁 This is what we love to do at

Sometimes it’s a good thing to bring in a new perspective. Here at our goal is to bring smiles on customers faces. We won’t stop until you’re happy because an unhappy customer is not an option. This Windsor chair was in dire need of a fresh start after years of use. Sometimes just a fresh coat of paint or stain can bring new life to that boring piece of furniture. Two more to go!

After another night of burning the midnight oil we completed one of 4 of these shield chairs. They were a little dull and in need of pick me up. We started with a new fabric for the seat and not to disturb what looked ok on the chair decided to lighten the inside of the shield to reveal the beauty of the grain. The set of 4 will be for sale in just a matter of couple days so if you’re interested please hit me up.
