Well, my husband's beautiful creation finally found a good home!! I'm so proud of him, he did such a good job! This unique table was made with love and by hand... the base is constructed of gnarly cypress wood that boasts a handsome double-live edge walnut slab. Yet another happy customer! Now introducing : Charmingly primitive shabby chic faux fireplace. Consists of several great architectural salvage picks, including a history filled wooden fireplace surround from an old estate, a once retired oak mantle saved from a cabin demolition, all with its original chippy patina, which I sealed with soft clear wax. The backdrop was once a bamboo type blind, and what's now curtains, was once a valance, held back by custom the backs that I made with burlap string and vintage skeleton keys that I've acquired here and there (I love them), which puts a personal vintage chic touch. What's probably my favorite detail is my upcycled firegate that I created using the foot board of an old iron bed (Nailed it by the way).

Enjoy the beauty of having your own fireplace, no matter where you may live.

I've took a leap of faith, and a step towards something that I'm heavily passionate about, and that's harnessing my natural God given craftiness, to create one of a kind items, that make people smile, and definitely something to talk about!
