Upcoming Milk Paint class June 3 & June 24

Caron holds painting classes on how to mix, apply, and antique a project that you take home when you complete the class. Class times usually run from 2 to 3 hours depending on the number of students. There is a maximum of 8 students in each class, so call and register early.


The class is $50.00 with a 50% deposit due at registration. A full refund will be given if you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to your class. All materials such as the class project, a six-peg Shaker peg rack, milk paint, brushes etc. are included in the cost. All you need to bring are some clothes and shoes you don't mind getting paint on.

Upcoming 24" Tall Stool Class June 10, 2018

Class Information:

Cost: $200.00

Tools: You can bring your own tools or just use ours.

Duration: We are for the most part work at your own pace(our classes start at 9:00 a.m. with a lunch break between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.). Class will cover the full construction of a stool, however, painting is not covered by the class(you can ask Caron for a milk painting class, it lasts 2-3 days). stool legs will be turned by us prior to class starting.

Registration deadline is June 3, 2018

This is an amazing opportunity to learn from one of the greatest chair makers in the country. If you've ever considered taking a class, this is one you don't want to miss. Ralph & Caron were trained at The Windsor Institute in Connecticut and spent years and years and lots of money learning and perfecting their craft. They are hands down the best.

It has been almost a month since my neck surgery and it helped with king helping me walk and balance a lot better than I use to be. I am now able to get back to failing trees and splitting logs for chair stock.

We are also going to be teaching chair classes next month so if you would like to earn how to make a Windsor chair the old fashioned way, contact Caron for further details.

This is a sort of wood working you will not find any where else and it will cause you to look at how our forefathers did things differently.

You will go home with a finished chair that can be passed down for generations to come.

We make all of our handmade Windsor chairs, Caron makes tons of really nice and affordable jewelry and her friend Dawn makes all of the fused glass. Because we love colonial, we also have tons of handmade Americana and folk art too ...flags, rabbits, horses....

At the Windsor Chair Shop, we LOVE animals and our shop is pet friendly! Here is some of the furbaby pieces Caron makes, inspired by our own rescue Sweet Pea. Here's a little note from Caron.... "Doggies and Kitties!! Oh how we love our fur babies 🐶😺! I so enjoy creating jewelry with our four legged family members in mind. The earrings show have only hypoallergenic ear wires, so safe for most anyone. I used crystals, glass pearls, crackle glass and turquoise beads and added little silver charms like doggie bones, kitty's and hearts with paw prints. These earrings are only $10.00 a pair!
