Just finished up some sweet endgrain chainmail cutting boards consisting of Hard Maple, Purple Heart, Bloodwood, and Wenge!

Fun challenge but the next project will be a bit larger and complex!

Fishing rod holder, gun rack, or umbrella stand, it’s up to you to fill!

This cherry wood and walnut combo compliments the intricate figuring of the grain, along with 93 dowels which were meticulously placed for architectural and structural support. 1/8” walnut strips were delicately bent to add an additional layer of depth and protection. Finished with 3 coats of Osmo Oil for superior durability and protection!

Planter update! 1st strawberries are in, just in time for the strawberry moon, and they are delicious!

This planter has worked great and as you can see, I also built a custom cage to keep animals out.

Remember that spalted maple slab from a few weeks back? Check out the flattening process! The next step is to fill all voids with a bronze epoxy!
