Merry Christmas and happy holidays. 2026 here we are! YES I know we are already a week in, but I stand by the statement, the new year doesnāt start until kids go back to school... So here we are. FIRST week of 2026 ;) Although to be honest, my brain still thinks summer just ended and hasnāt quite caught up.. ANYWAYS. It is finally time to get back to work! And to start things off, I had to show off this absolute STUNNA we delivered just before Christmas! This table was a project that we started designing/collaborating on for like.. a year!! Margaret wanted the perfect family table, with character, design, and heart! Together, we hand picked the perfect slab to use as our top, with additional boards to give us the MAXIMUM space for 8-10 people to seat comfortably. Then, we decided on the layout, alternating new and old wood. Next, selected the perfect medium brown color, which makes styling and mixing multiple species of wood in their home super easy. They also chose a modern design for the table base.. and THAT really surprised me, inspired by rustic wood and live edge top but mixing with the mid century mod style leg was actually such a great choice! Seeing it all together, was such a jaw dropping momentā¦ From start to finish this table was a labor of love and I am so excited it will be a place for so many memories.
