Hunt & Noyer Woodworks was formed by Kyle Huntoon in early 2013 to create small housewares and gift items from high quality american hardwoods. The company has since grown to include an original line of furniture, wholly designed and handcrafted by Kyle in the Hunt & Noyer studio on Detroit's New Center neighborhood. In addition to a growing line of home accessories and furnishings, Hunt & Noyer h

as completed a number of collaboration projects with talented makers in Detroit, along with commission work for museums, small retailers, and corporate clients.

We’re all here today saying it, 2021 was wild. I feel like I should recap the year with a reel of highs and lows, buttoning it all up with a nice thank you to all who support Hunt & Noyer. Instead I just want to post this picture of an incredible moment on the best day of the year. We were soaked from the rain, and exhausted from singing and dancing for hours. I loved every minute of it. I mean, maybe the Fireball shot nightcaps were a bad idea, but hey. I’m not always the best at showing it, but I am so damn grateful for this woman. Looking into 2022 with you, . Let’s pop some champ and get it started 🍾🥳

I had a great time teaching at last week. It was a challenging experience, but after 5 days, 8 students went home with completed chairs ready for upholstery! Wanted to share this shot of their shop, with its inspiring aesthetics. It’s such a cool space for getting creative. They offer a full year of workshops and intensive classes, and I’m looking forward to get on their schedule for 2022 🙋🏻‍♂️
