Actual footage of me realizing its time to slow down.
It's been a rough couple weeks. Exhaustion has set in. Getting prepared for kids on summer break is no easy task, especially with special needs kiddos.

Hunter started his summer break yesterday. He's excited I'm set and ready, I think... I think I have a new routine ready, not really but I will figure it out.
I did create a better layout and workshop setup for this summer. So that will be extremely helpful in getting things done.

I will be less available online for a bit.
I will still be working on furniture. I have a cute side table coming up, and secretary desk with tall shelf I am currently working on. Those will be available for purchase soon. I will post them when done.

I added a few new finds this week to the booth. Oh and thats Daisy, shes fine she just needed a paintjob. She's back home with her owners now, and I'm not spooked out every time I open my garage anymore.
So happy my neighbors were not home when I worked on her...😆

New additions to the booth today. I don't have a porch goose to model the adorable geese outfits I picked up , so I used the hand carved wooden giraffe I found. He is so cute in his little outfits...lol geese outfits only $7 each, all in my booth #8 inside Clarence Hollow Antique Mall & Bonadio Country Store go shop find some treasures!! 😊

HELP DEPEW TEEN BATTLING STAGE 4 BONE CANCER 💔

"My name is Jessica and I am raising funds for my 17-year-old son Micah who was recently diagnosed with stage four bone cancer.

In early January Micah started experiencing pain in his right knee. It was brushed off as a sports injury due to basketball that he played for his high school team, we also thought it could be growing pains.

That was until early May.

He was at a park playing basketball with some friends and fell on that knee. It was from that point that everything went downhill.

Cancer is so common now that everyone knows it is a fight and it is also costly. We are looking to start raising funds now that we will set aside in a separate bank account that will help pay for gas, travel, doctors appointments that are not covered by insurance or medicines, food that is healthy for micah to eat and anything else that might come our way that we are not expecting.

Anything will help even simply sharing this gofundme. We thank everyone in advance."

Micah was supposed to spend another summer as a lifeguard but he can't. He was supposed to start college in the fall for engineering science but he can't. His last summer, as a kid before he starts that journey into adulthood will be fighting for his life.

All donations will go towards any medical bills, gas to and from doctor's appointments if needed, a better diet so he can stay strong during chemo, and anything else that will come our way during this fight.

My current project piece. I have not decided on color yet, but these are my options. Broken glass is getting replaced with cane, will probably leave some wood showing on doors and drawers. I could also put it all back together with original finish and door, clean shine and spot refinish ???

In all my years I've not refurbished a piece like this. It's an oak secretary desk with a tall shelf connected to it. Every drawer and door has a lock with a key with beautiful gold hardware. Ive already removed it, that will go back on.

I can't decide. If anyone wants to claim it before I do decide, and want me to redo it for you send me a message. I can give you details and measurements.

Hey guys, for my followers who have been with me for a while who have been missing Crafty Kathie , she is back with a new retail ceramics shop and class room space at 41 Main Street in Akron NY. If you dont know Kathie and are into ceramics or want to learn give her a follow and check her out.
I stopped by today for a visit. Shes expanded her greenware and is now doing pouring as well. She has a large selection. Buy to paint at home, or paint in her classroom space, or shop to buy whats she's painted. She's right in the cute little village of Akron, a little bit down and across the street from Martins Merchantile where I get my fusion paint from. Tomorrow night is the first of their Thursday night cruise nights this Summer.
