I finished up 2 new pieces yesterday and they are headed to my booth today. Booth 8 inside Clarence Hollow Antique Mall & Bonadio Country Store 11111 Main Street Clarence.
I did a complete refinish to a classic hard to find taters and onyons bin. The outside was in rough shape and it needed more than a cleaning and shine. These are the best way to store your taters and onyons... lol I just dont get the spelling but after Google searching, lots of different bins had this way of spelling. Who knows, but its cute.
I sanded down the wood and used Fusion mineral paint in a mix of pressed fern and terracotta to make this earthy olive green. I used a paint wash with Fusion in chocolate to stain the wood. Sealed in a water based polycrylic sealer. Its ready for a new home. (Dimentions and price in the description on main photo)
Upcycled plant stand. This piece has a solid frame , its wicker was shot, so I removed it and replaced with live edge larch wood. That wood has been stained using the same chocolate fusion paint. The frame is painted in rustoleum london gray, a gray thats in the brown family. I would recommend keeping this plant stand under a covered patio if using outside. The frame itself and paint is made for outdoors however it will wear overtime and the wood is not pressure treated.( Measurements and pricing on main photo)
Fusion mineral paint and more can be bought from Buffalo Road Home Decor & More located inside Martin's Mercantile in Akron.
