As sad as it makes me, I have decided to close my in-home day care, Bushel and a Peck. I have notified all of the parents of my enrolled kiddos and I am working on letting everyone on my waiting list know as well. Thankfully, I am able to give them a two month notice to find another provider. It has been an awesome year and I cannot thank you all enough for trusting me with your precious children. They have taught me much more than I have them and will be missed by us Harris girls tremendously! I am pretty sure my girls think they are their sibling that just sleep somewhere else at night🤣

Again, thank you all so much for the constant encouragement and kind words with each post on here. Those pictures are just a small glimpse at how great these kids are!

I have one struggling with potty training. My girls did the same thing. We have one potty that is Mickey and the Roadster Racers with a gear shift so I drew this thinking maybe it will help motivate her. We read the book as a group this morning and all of the kids keep encouraging her. So far she is doing better today already! She gets a prize when Minnie reaches the Finish Line! Praying it helps her.

Who needs "Painting With a Twist" when you can do "Painting With a Toddler"?? :)

We had a lot of fun with this. The kids picked what they wanted me to draw on their canvas for them and the bigger kids painted their all on their own. I held the baby's hands and helped them so they wouldn't eat it :) love these cute little artist!

We made "Conversation Hearts" four our "Have a Little Talk with Jesus" themed Valentine Exchange today.

I spoke with each child separately and asked them what to write on each Valentine to their friends/family and some things they wanted to tell Jesus or pray for.

This was so much fun! Loved their answers. I wrote exactly what they said and didn't prompt anything. Some sweet answers, some ornery and some hilarious ones. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of every heart we made.
