Last week, Enriching Spaces had the honor of being presented with our LEED Gold Award by U.S. Green Building Council. Joining our Cincinnati 2030 District Happy Hour were (left to right) Charlie Gonzalez Green Umbrella, Wyatt King Cincinnati 2030 District, Ryan Mooney-Bullock Green Umbrella, chad edwards RA, NCARB, LEED AP, LFA emersion DESIGN LLC, Chuck Lohre our LEED AP, Elizabeth Rojas, NCIDQ, LEED BDC our USGBC presenter, Dawn Schwartzman, Wright Gwyn Forest Park Environmental Awareness, Aharon Brown Forest Park Mayor, and Donnie Jones CPA Forest Park City Manager. We are privileged to work with all of these folks who share a commitment to the numerous ways we can affect health, well-being, and climate change through mindful and expansive initiatives.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a champagne toast upon the receipt of our USGBC Gold LEED Certificate! Thank you Chuck Lohre for your dedication to this achievement. Chuck's expertise in LEED-certified documentation and knowledge of the details of our International WELL Building Institute - IWBI Platinum Certification made it all possible. We look forward to our USGBC formal presentation on June 6th when we host a Cincinnati 2030 District Happy Hour. More details to follow.

It was delightful to host cf3 Cincinnati’s Modern Design Forum in our renovated showroom. What a treat to spend a Saturday morning with so many modern enthusiasts. We shared the mid-century history of the friendship of Eero Saarinen, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia, and Charles and Ray Eames that began at Cranbrook. These designers went on to create iconic furniture for Herman Miller and Knoll. With today’s combined new brand, MillerKnoll, these legacy designs continue to influence today’s living and working spaces.

We are delighted to share one of our most meaningful design and furnishings projects of 2022, the new Hamilton YWCA. Working with Wendy Waters-Connell, CEO/Director, to create spaces providing safety, durability, comfort, and dignity for the homeless residents and the domestic violence shelter opened our minds and hearts to the various needs of these women and children. The administrative offices and meeting areas were incorporated throughout.
