Lawn and farm equipment companies are attempting to take control of the equipment they sell to farmers and the public by using proprietary software installed in an attempt to override and control your right to repair the equipment you purchased. The farmers are fighting back to restore their right to repair without being forced to pay the high costs of repairs by so-called "authorized dealers and repair shops".
