We have almost completed our new wood lot! 2 acres of solid cut and dried slabs ready for a new life! We would also like to introduce a new team member and he needs no introduction, one of the nicest most knowledgeable people in this industry Phil Aldred! Claro Walnut, English Walnut, Bastogne Walnut, Maple, Eucalyptus, Sycamore, old growth Redwood, Cedar, Pistache, Camphor, Elm and Oak just to name a few. All this wood is ready to be used in your next piece of custom furniture. We are very excited to have the opportunity to offer gorgeous local dry wood slabs and dimensional hardwood!

Every time I post a table, I usually get the question “What finish do you use?” Well now I can finally tell everyone what we use in our shop and send out with all our tables!!!

This is a hard wax oil that has been created to be a durable yet easy to apply finish. This finish was purposely created with specific ingredients to be ultra clear for epoxy tables and boards! This finish was also designed to polish out very well either by hand or for a really intense polish, a mechanical buffer! This finish amazes me every time I use it because of the figuring and rich colors that it brings out and enhances in the wood! This table has everything! The top is a grafted Claro black walnut and English wanlnut slab that was planted around the 1920’s. As we started surfacing it we found a couple square head nails! It sits on top of a custom powder coated steel base. It is also one of the most figured and wild slabs we have seen! To top it all off in its new home it sits under a handmade Murano glass chandelier that the clients brought back from Italy! We absolutely loved working with these clients and couldn’t have found a better home for this table set!

We used a mix of urban woods including dimensional white oak, live edge white oak and live edge Claro Walnut all sourced from local trees! All custom steel bases fabricated and powder coated in house
