Howard Group Design Everyone should love their home. Together, we make that our goal. Once I start to get the approving nod, then I know we’re on the right track. Steve H.

We define your personal style, the difference between what you like and what you really want, what stays and what goes (and why). A couple phrases will keep repeating, ‘you need to love it’, ‘it needs to make sense’, ‘don’t settle’. It’s my job to make it all work. I’ll ask allot of questions to find out how you live in the space. From this I can determine a color palate, space plan, and apply the

principles and elements of design. I’m a really good listener. My favorite part of the design process is when it all comes together and you say ‘I love it!’ and I can see it on your face. That’s when it’s electric……must be why it’s called a passion.

I had the pleasure of working with good friends and great clients who wanted to redo their office into an actual office. One so that the husband could be comfortable working at home. They wanted to use the wood from a dismantled barn from the family farm in Iowa and this is the result. Still a work in progress. Almost done so stayed tuned. The last piece is pretty cool.
