I truly wish my new Beach Boutique booth was jam-packed with awesome stuff. Sadly, it's been a rough month for many reasons including a few rounds of a stomach bug and a sinus cold between the 5 of us.

Oh I had NO idea how time consuming this project would be! I've had a set of Victorian style lamp shades for several months now. I fell in love with the shape of them but the fabric & fringe had seen better days. So I bought some sea glass, natural sisal twine, & wire and got started. I love how it turned out, now another 1.5 days work to do the second one! 😂 I think I may turn them into hanging lights! :)

Staying so busy, I probably won't post a lot this month as I'm busting rump to get lots of coastal items made for Beach Boutique! If you haven't heard, and you're an all-things-coastal lover, I am in the process of transitioning my booth at Vinterest Antiques! Everything will be coastal/beach inspired and maybe some 'lake' items as well. I'm excited!

Alright, I have gone back and forth and maybe even sideways trying to settle on a new booth name!! It was harder than I thought it would be!

Piano deconstruction is nearly complete! Hardest part will be getting the 200lb cast iron harp out!
This won't be a quick project, but I do have BIG plans for this transformation. Will it pay off? Idk. Will it be overkill? I hope not. Wouldn't it be easier to build from scratch the vision I have? Absolutely, but this is more fun and challenging!

My kids can't resist playing with it and my husband said he "might" love me again tomorrow after bringing this home! Haha!! I may paint it to sell OR what I'm really thinking about is repurposing it into a kitchen island!! Hmm...
