I just wanted to let everyone know that I plan to start on the chest this weekend. I have had a few obligations this week that have delayed me.
My plan so far is to sand this beauty down to bare wood and see what we have. Hopefully I will get a vision on which direction to go once that is done. How do we feel about this design? The reason for it, there is a lot of damage on the top drawer. Just in case I can't get a smooth finish on that veneer, this is how I can salvage it.
This piece is 43" tall x 30" wide x 16" deep

I went ahead and got the drawer pulls all cleaned up for the little chest.
I am very pleased with how well they cleaned up!
After looking at the before picture, I am now questioning which way these go on.
They had them with the cup at the top, but I thought the cup should be at the bottom for the actual pull.
What are your thoughts on this?

I found this little cutie, and had to bring her home.
So much character in this piece!
I think I might just sand it down and do a natural finish.

Here is the flag dresser styled in a room, to give you an idea of what it can look like. This is an AI picture, I noticed it only applied 11 stars and 12 stripes and changed the hardware😂 But hopefully you get the idea. It looks so good in the neutral room, adding just the right amount of color without overpowering it. ❤️🇺🇸

I had to try the k***s on, just to see if I made the right choice. I think I did. I love the antique bronze with the colonial colors. It's getting there.
