This rocker has the dimensions: Height=25" (63.5cm), Length=24" (61.0cm), Width=21" (53.4cm), and a seat width of 15" (38.1cm). I've used reclaimed treated pine for this one and kept the rustic charm the worn wood had to offer using a spun abrasive to remove the splinters from the areas of contact. One of my daughters was kind enough to model for a photograph. I would ask $135 for a chair made the same way as this one, and prices would change accordingly as the cost of materials dictated. If you would like to order one of these chairs, please message me, or email me at [email protected]
Please share this with anyone in the market for a child's rocking chair. This would make a wonderful Christmas gift!

We had a need for storage in our home to prepare for the coming of our girls, so I used some pallets for the materials and made this chest. The basic box is of white pine using simple box joints, and the outer edges are laminated with oak and hickory pallet stock (lightly sanded to take away the splinters while retaining the rough mill saw marks) to add strength and durability to the heavy wear areas as well as accenting the more finished look of the pine. The finish is hand rubbed Watco Danish Oil.

Who doesn't like a toy car? I made this car from a scrap piece of poplar destined for someone's fireplace! It was a two inch thick piece, and netted five cars. These were the second run of cars I've done, with the prototypes thrown together (from some white pine stock I had laying around after I built the entertainment console featured earlier) as gifts for some children of close friends. The wheels and axles are hard maple; and the design is a hybrid from classic American coupes and the VW bug my wife used to drive. Sorry, no rumble seat!

Thank you, Veteran! For all who answered the call, I am happy to call you brother and sister.

All gave some. Some gave all.

It was a beautiful weekend in Charleston, SC! I had the honor of playing in a golf tournament benefitting the EOD Wounded Warrior Foundation for the Navy and Marine Corps at Shadow Moss Plantation with some good friends, especially Dennis Schafer. I believe the tournament raised around $20K for the foundation! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Cheers!
