These Old Bourbon Barrels came to us for a complete restoration. Once we took the barrels apart, there was thick layer of brown sugar and dried bourbon on the inside. They smelled delicious, but needed a good cleaning and bleaching inside and out.
Every slat was numbered to ensure they would go back together perfectly. I have some very talented guys the work for me and am glad they take pride in what they do. Good work Tony Sheppard!

This week I did a project that was long overdo and in need of a good refinish. This front door, made of Spruce, had been charred from UV rays beating on it for years. Old Polyurethane can not hold up to the sun and the damage it causes. After multiple coats of stripping and bleaching, the natural wood grain started to come through.
I take great pride in all the pieces we do, especially the ones I do myself. I may have spent longer than I intended or expected on this door, but the outcome turned out flawless. The finish has UV protection in it and is the latest advancement in high performance 2 part Acrylic Poly finish there is today. The client could not have been any happier with the way it turned out.
Remember: If you have a solid wood door, no matter how old, don't throw it out and buy a new one...Have it refinished and Bring it back to life!!
Happy Friday y'all!
