This was a whole remodel I did, but the epoxy parts are today's topic. The tub piece was built with the tub in place. I had to tear out the tile and build the new top in place.
I built the shower seat to go into the shower while the tub is divided by a shower panel (installed later). Getting the radius right and making the veins work with the threshold were just some of the small details I enjoy. The pictures don't show the hints of blues, and vibrance of seeing in person.
I enjoyed the outcome look of this bathroom. It proves money can be saved and custom marble look slabs can be put in with an existing tub (it would've been a chore and $$$ to remove and replace with a piece of cararra, not to mention the weight and risk of cracking). This one is also honed to feel and look like real stone.
I built this one with heated tile floors, custom heater vent in shower, custom return vent in shower, plumbing for two shower heads and rain head, new windows, new cabinet, all tile.
Designed and did all work done to get to the final picture shown. Some before pics are towards the end.
Proves anything can be done. on a budget.
