Fall in Charleston 🍁

Each time we picked up my son last weekend while visiting him in OH at college he would say “is that another coat?” 🤣

You can never have too many coats. Period.

Design “To Do” List for the week 📝

Sometimes just checking a few small things off my list makes me feel like I accomplished something!

Getting measurements helps me price out total rug and wallpaper costs and then calculate how many stripping shifts I need to pick up to pay for them. Jk jk 🤣

I’m pretty excited to wrap up my blue living room design and share it with you 🙌🏻

A $50 gallon of paint can completely change your space!!

Can design be expensive? Yes.
Do you have to spend a lot of money to make your space look expensive? NO.

Just start with paint!!!!

Color: Dix Blue by Farrow & Ball

Paint is tricky but hands down THE easiest and most affordable option to completely transform your space..

See my tips in pics above and check out my top color picks below ❤️

Coral Spice Benjamin Moore - The perfect peachy pink salmon shade that I have on my front door and have used in multiple spaces in my previous home. Looks good with just about everything!

Chartreuse Benjamin Moore - obsessed with this color and honestly it’s a neutral. This shade is not too bright and looks different in all types of lighting. It’s AMAZING!!

Atmospheric Sherwin Williams - a beautiful grey blue with a that is a classic and beautiful choice for any room. Would be fab on a porch ceiling or paired with chocolate brown.

Red Earth Farrow and Ball - It took me over 2 weeks to find the perfect shade of terracotta for my bedroom. It’s a VERY tricky shade (like red and pink) and looks different at every angle. I ALMOST went with Terracotta Urn by Behr but swapped last minute. Love the result!

Dix Blue Farrow and Ball - dreamy shade that can look green, blue and grey all at once. It’s a chameleon color! Seen here in all pics in my living room :)

Honorable mention:
Setting Plaster Farrow & Ball (perfect baby pink I used recently for my main bath trim)
Ming Jade (stunning blue based rich green)
Dove White (if you need a classic white)
Coral Gables punchy and fun
Naval (the perfect classic Navy)

Don’t stress if you don’t love it.. it’s an easy change. Happy Painting!
