I've recently started refurbishing pieces of furniture. It started off as some what of a therapeutic hobby and has grown (filling my garage) into a little business venture! I usually find pieces of furniture when I go out thrifting and give them my own spin. I've done everything from chairs, dressers (favorite), nightstands, end tables, headboards, etc!
