The final phase of an extraordinary sale for an extraordinary woman. A native of England, Maureen Berry began working in the 1940s for the Polish Relief Agency helping Poles return home after World War II. She later became an assistant professor of accountancy at the University of Illinois, after earning a doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles. As a Fulbright Scholar, she helped establish the UI's and the University of Warsaw's joint Master of Business Administration program. During her lifetime, Berry taught and worked with various agencies including KPMG, the Urban Institute, the US Defense Department, USAID, and more in China, Egypt, Israel, Macedonia, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Hungary, and Indonesia.
This public sale will include a few of the items that were listed online and over 1000+ new items. This final sale includes rugs, art, fine & costume jewelry, clothes & accessories, antiques, china, a large collection of baking & cooking equipment, pottery, Native American items, collectibles and so much more.
